I have been fortunate enough to build many brands, campaigns, and services that center around children and youth. Basically I think of them as the "consumers of the future." We can never assume what's going on in the minds of young people. Having been involved in various focus group studies with young consumers, I've realized that each generation is ever-evolving and dynamic. But, there are certain traits that you find in each phase of a child's development process. Just ask any trained psychologist. These behaviors can help us keenly tailor our approach to building customers for life.
If you need assistance on developing a creative brand approach to capture young savvy buyers or capture future customers, feel free to contact Eric Richards at 801-654-3742 for a project estimate. Youth-related projects I have worked on include:
• GiggleBug packaging - device to keep your kids safe while away from home
• Associated Foods Kids Club - development of a kids club brand including a food-friendly magazine, store collaterals, club mascots, youth events, and culture to promote good eating habits in kids and awareness of kid-friendly foods via manufacturer co-op content.
• eXceed Magazine - creative development of a magazine for the teens including interviews with stars like Charlotte Church, N'Sinc, and Beverly Mitchell
• Critter Crew, Student Crew, and Campus Crew - 3 distinct financial product lines for Utah Central Credit Union tailored to meet the needs of youth 0-12, 13-17, and 18-25.
